hinckley & bosworth
Having incorporated as a limited company in 2014, Hinckley and Bosworth Medical Alliance Ltd have made some great strides in beginning to establish ourselves as a provider organisation, fully representative of our members, the shareholding practices.
It has to be acknowledged that this has been achieved with the invaluable support of the West Leicestershire CCG in terms of not only the financial support package, but also through the dedication and hard work of our Federation Manager, support staff and clinical staff. However we are under no illusion as to the enormity of the task ahead of us in terms of developing New Models of Care, sustainable general practice and implementing the overarching Community Services Plan. We are acutely aware that our future sustainability as a self-financing organisation relies on these achievements. In Hinckley & Bosworth there is a real drive, enthusiasm and ambition for expanding the increased offer that we can deliver to our patients, care closer to home, with a reduction in waiting times and at a significant reduction in tariff for the NHS.
We see a real potential to be actively involved in the care of patients beyond the traditional “surgery front door“ with a real drive , commitment, passion, determination and ambition for the future, ensuring that the patients of Hinckley & Bosworth can access high quality, responsive integrated care with the introduction of a new care model and specifically in the next year the development and implementation of the IRCT (integrated responsive community team) service to support the frail elderly at home and within care homes.
Hinckley and Bosworth Medical Alliance Limited was incorporated as a Limited, Company Number 09086757 to serve the population of Hinckley and Bosworth patients. Hinckley & Bosworth Medical Alliance is a Federation of 13 GP Practices with 74 GP’s, representing almost 122,000 patients in West Leicestershire. The Federation received funding in 2015/16 from West Leicestershire CCG to fund the crucial development of the Federation and the recruitment of a Federation Manager to develop a strategy to ensure the Federation will achieve its objectives and become financially viable within two years.
